The Fulbright Grants for Teaching, Research, Career Development, or Institutional Collaboration grants allow highly qualified Austrian academics to visit US host institutions for a minimum of three and a maximum of four months for the purpose of teaching, research, career development, or institutional collaboration. Ideally, projects address two or more of these aspects.
Grants may begin as early as 1 September and end as late as 30 June, with a duration of 3–4 months. All applications are treated confidentially. Fulbright Austria representatives review and rank submitted applications, and finalists are notified of the status of their applications by the end of April.
