Damit du beim Schreiben besser\nvorankommst\, gibt es den Coworking-Space zum wissenschaftlichen Schreiben – ein\nregelmäßiger Schreibtreff für Studierende der GMPU.\nAlle zwei Wochen treffen wir uns für zwei Stunden in einer motivierenden Atmosphäre\, um\ngemeinsam zu schreiben und Fortschritte zu machen. DESCRIPTION:Di. 28.10.2025 \nBrazilian Popular Music at the Crossroads:\nPerspectives and Paths on Rhythmics and Corporeality \nChico Santana | Federal University of Paraiba (Brazil) \nPopular Brazilian music has multiple expressive and contextual dimensions\, making it a vast and plural universe.\nHowever\, there is a tendency towards stigmatised views that fail to provide a more in-depth and contextualised\nunderstanding of central aspects of popular musical practices. Starting from this problematisation\, the lecture\npresents a perspective centred on the concept of crossroads\, based on the Afro-Brazilian worldview\, proposing a\nreflection on the multiplicity of paths for analysing and interpreting Brazilian music.

It will also discuss the political border-crossing dimensions of sound in\nthe context of current discussions about “cultural citizenship” as an activity of proactive\nartivism.
